Over the years, we have received many questions regarding our Serenity Massage. Here is a brief summary of information on what you can expect when you receive one of our Serenity Massages.
1.This is your massage. We want you to be very comfortable and relaxed during this treatment. We encourage our customers to tell us what they need/want. Let you therapist know how much pressure you need, what areas need work, whether you are hot or cold etc. You won’t hurt his/her feelings. Our goal is to help you relax and enjoy your treatment.
2. If this is your first visit, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire. We need to understand your condition, any complaints, health concerns, medications etc. so we can customize the treatment to your specific needs.
3. You will then move to the treatment room where you will undress to your comfort level and prepare for your treatment. Your therapist will work around the clothes you leave on. There is no right or wrong here.
4. Your massage will last anywhere from 60 min to 2 hrs depending on the treatment you selected. We recommend a 60-90 minute treatment for optimal relaxation.
5. Once your treatment is done, your therapist will guide you back to the reception area for checkout.
6. You will be given an opportunity to rebook at that time. We fill up quickly so if you know your schedule, we recommend that you book in advance. If your are looking for an occasional massage to relax and unwind, we suggest a session every 3-6 weeks. If you are trying to treat a specific condition, then schedule visits more frequently at first and move into a maintenance mode.
